Managed tool engineering, process engineering, cost estimating, document control and tool room. Member of Management Team that significantly reversed a $1.8MM loss to a $1.1MM profit in less than 12 months. Achieved QS9000 certification in less than 14 months.

Lead Engineer Eaton Automotive Controls (* ITW Automotive Controls) 1989-1995 Led a multi-disciplinary 5-man Project Team responsible for multiple product designs, marketing, testing and manufacture of automotive specialty switches and cosmetic components for Tier 1 and 2 customers. Closely worked with suppliers to ensure that sub-assemblies and components met company quality and delivery standards. Duties included supervision, quoting, manufacturing support, design consultant. Achieved a 20% cost reduction on an existing production switch assembly. Planned and directed the start of a new ITW switch manufacturing plant in South Korea. Awarded 4 Patents for several unique multifunction switches. *Eaton acquired ITW Automotive Controls in 1991.
