What S Happening in Kids Church 2015?

WHAT’S HAPPENING IN KIDS CHURCH 2015?

This year we have some exciting Bible teaching beginning with David from the Old Testament, who began as a shepherd boy and became a King. God had an amazing plan for David’s life and it began in his childhood. Every child is created with a God destiny. This series on David is designed to point to Jesus and help each child realise God’s purpose for their lives. God’s plan doesn’t begin in adulthood it begins now. Each lesson incorporates a theme with Bible stories, verses and visuals to inspire kids in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

The second series we teach is five lessons on Evangelism. Each child has a story and each story is important, Jesus will use their testimony to witness to others in their school, family and community. Communicating effectively is the beginning but words are not enough there must be actions, serving others is the call of Christ Jesus. He came to serve, not be served and told His church to do as He did. It is through genuine care and prayer that the Holy Spirit draws people to God. Talk and action can be powerless without prayer, and service can be exhausting without the power of the Holy Spirit.

The following series is on fighting to win over the devil by focusing on Jesus and His amazing promises. Whenever Jesus prayed His prayers were answered. In John 17 Jesus prayed for His disciples that they would be protected from the evil one. Because Jesus prayed it we can be sure it is done.

We are passionate about teaching God’s Word to the children, but without a personal relationship with Christ these are just lessons and good information. Our primary purpose is to see children fall in love with Jesus and have a strong, real relationship with Him built on trust and love. We focus each lesson on Jesus and His love. We engage with Him in prayer and listen to His Holy Spirit to enable us to walk in the Spirit. We are committed to encouraging children to keep on loving Jesus.
