ANNETTE P. HOPSON SERVICE AWARD

The Service Award will be presented to a person who has contributed greatly to GRA on the STATE level. Recommendations can be made by any local Council or member of the GRA Executive Board.

Criteria Necessary for Nomination

 To be eligible for this award, a nominee should be a member of both Local and State Councils, and IRA for a minimum of seven years. (Non-membership automatically disqualifies nominee.)  The outstanding service to GRA for which the nominee is being cited should be clearly specified and substantiated.

Procedure A letter from the Council President or GRA Board Member should clearly specify and describe the service rendered.

NOTE: The Service Award, as stated above, will be presented to a person who has contributed greatly to GRA. However, each local council is encouraged to recognize members who have made outstanding contributions at the local council level. This will not be considered a GRA award and is to be presented by the local council at one of its functions. The criteria for the award should be developed by the local council.

***** Since this award is presented to someone who has contributed greatly to GRA, please limit the information submitted to GRA as much as possible. Include years of membership, offices and committee chair positions held, special projects, attendance and participation at conferences, contributions to publications, etc.
