ARMA Tulsa Chapter Speaker Bio and Presentation Information

Brad Lankford

BIO:

Brad Lankford came to Tulsa in 2016 to work with ONEOK’s Records and Information Management department as a Project Manager for an Enterprise Content Management implementation. Before coming to Tulsa, Brad spent 10 years working as a Records and Information Management consultant and project manager. He has worked on many different project teams occupying various roles. Time spent in the project world brought with it opportunities to stand on the mountain top of project success and challenges of working on projects with no clear direction, focused vision or strong leadership. It is in the valleys where he has learned the most and enjoys sharing his experiences with anyone willing to listen. When not tinkering with Microsoft Project and trying to stay awake reading incessant piles of project documentation, Brad loves to spend time with his wife, four kids and the real boss of the house, Tilley, a spirited West Highland White Terrier.

Short description of Presentation:

April 6, 2018 ARMA Tulsa Chapter Speaker Bio and Presentation Information

There are many websites and seminars one can attend on projects management. Much of the information focuses on pure project management of scope, create, plan, implement and monitor in a way that is considered best practice or “by the book”. In reality, how many times can we say things have ever gone by the book in business, life or otherwise? This session addresses what can be done when dealt that less than winning project management hand and how to turn it into a project success jackpot. You will be surprised what kind of cards you have up your sleeves.
