Article 1 General provisions

1) The Institute of Technology and Business in Ceske Budejovice (hereinafter "ITB") announces admissions II. in the academic year 2017/2018 for these degree programs: a) Transport Technology and Communications, study field: Logistics Technologies Form of study: full-time, distance Length of study: 2 years Type of study: Follow-up Master Language of study: English Fee: 35.000 CZK/semester 3

Article 2 Prerequisites for conditional admission to the degree programs

1) Submission of properly filled in electronic application in the period from 1.5.2017 to 30.6.2017; a deposit must be paid to successfully complete an electronic application. 2) Payment of deposit of € 250 to account no. 2111158563/2700 at the UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s. no later than 30.6.2017. The candidate must state the variable symbol: three sixes and the number of an application of the applicant (e.g. 66672642). Payment details: IBAN: CZ68 2700 0000 0021 1115 8563 SWIFT: BACXCZPPXXX 1) Provide a certified copy of the diploma of at least from a bachelor's degree program including a certificate of recognition of a foreign university degree in the Czech Republic (validation) in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Act No. 111/1998 Coll. no later than on the opening day of the study. Article 3 4

Article 3 Fee for foreign language study

1) Fee for foreign language study will be assessed a day of conditional admission to the study in total amount of 35 000 CZK/semester. 2) The deposit in the amount of € 250 will be returned to an accepted candidate by bank transfer by one month from the opening day of the study. 3) In the case of non-acceptance of a candidate to the study program, the deposit will be returned to candidates by bank transfer. 5

Article 4 Assessment of entries

1) The lists of conditionally accepted and non-accepted candidates (by their e-application numbers) will be posted on the official ITB notice board no later than July 15, 2017. The lists will be also published on www.vstecb.cz. A decision on the conditional admission will be send to every candidate (to the addressee only) no later than July 31, 2017. 2) If the candidate does not meet conditions for conditional acceptance laid down in Article 2 of this rector´s measure and does not meet obligations to ITB, the candidate will be excluded from the assessment of entries. A conditionally accepted candidate will become a student from the opening day of the study. 6

Article 5 Non-commenced study

1) If the conditionally accepted candidate cannot commence his/her study, it is necessary to report this fact no longer than September 15, 2017 by e-mail to Study Department ITB. The deposit in the amount of € 250 will be returned to a conditionally accepted candidate by bank transfer. 2) If the conditionally accepted candidate cannot commence his/her study and does not report this fact by September 15, 2017, the deposit in the amount of € 250 payed in accordance with Article 2, paragraph 3, will be considered non-refundable. 7

Article 6 Validation of bachelor's degree

1) If the candidate graduated from a foreign university from an accredited study program with similar content to bachelor's degree taught at ITB, the candidate can apply for validation of such a bachelor's degree program. 2) An application for validation is required to be submitted by June 30, 2017. It must contain the following: 2.a) an application for validation, 2.b) a certified copy of the diploma or other proof of graduation, 2.c) a certified copy of the diploma supplement or an original of the diploma or a certified copy of the certificate of examinations, 3) If the documents accompanying the application are not in Czech or English, the candidate must attach a certified translation into Czech, in accordance with Act No. 36/1967 Coll., On experts and interpreters. 8

4) The processing fee of an application for validation is 3 000 CZK. This fee will be deducted from the paid deposit € 250. 5) If the Rector of ITB finds out significant differences between the compared study programs, the application for validation will be rejected with no refund of the fee for validation.
