HELP OPPORTUNITIES 1. Study Session a. Every Wednesday from 2:45 – 3:30 (or longer if necessary) b. Snacks may be brought (Sometimes they will be provided.) c. Activities i. Homework completion ii. Make-up work iii. Study time iv. Reading v. Getting extra assistance vi. Teacher/student conferencing vii. Notebook organization 2. Working Lunch a. Every Monday – Thursday during lunch b. Students should bring a lunch from home if possible. c. Activities – Same as Study Session 3. S.O.S. a. Every Tuesday and Thursday in the Library from 2:45 – 3:30 b. Rides home must be arranged in advance c. Students work on whatever they need under teacher supervison.

“ REDO” POLICY 1. Students may get back a paper that is stamped, “See Mr. Segal REDO”. This means that due to some misunderstanding of a concept, the student received a poor grade. 2. Students MUST follow the following procedure: a. Find a time to see Mr. Segal with the paper. b. The concept will be re-explained. c. An opportunity to REDO the paper will be given. A new due date will be set. d. The redone paper is to be stapled to the original paper and turned in by the due date. The grade may be increased up to a “C”. If the due date is missed, no additional credit will be issued. 3. No REDO will be issued on tests or quizzes. Students are expected to review their notes daily and get extra assistance if needed prior to any test or quizzes. Study guides will be provided in advance. 4. No REDO will be issued if it is deemed that the poor grade is due to lack of effort.
