Valentine’s Day Celebration

Dear Students and Parents, January 28, 2016

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. We will be observing Valentine’s Day Friday, February 12th. In class this year, we will be celebrating the day with valentines and valentine’s boxes, games, crafts and a classroom treat. Our party will be taking place from 8:15 to 9:30 in the morning.

The students should decorate a valentine’s box or bag at home and bring it in for the day. Shoebox size Valentine’s box should be large enough. If you have trouble finding a box, please feel free to decorate a bag. They should also bring a valentine for each student in class. Attached is a class list if you desire to personalize each one.

Due to severe food allergies, please do not attach any candy, gum, chocolates or other edible treats to the valentines. If you would like to attach something, it should be non-food such as a pencil, an eraser, stickers, or other small trinkets. We will be having a treat during the party.

Parents, you will be receiving an email with volunteer and donation opportunities. To make the day fun for the kids, we will need your help in a variety of areas. Please take the time to look at your choices.
