14 Cheyenne Mountain Re-Entry Center (CMRC) The goal of the Cheyenne Mountain Re-Entry Center is to work with the Division of Community Corrections and Parole to prepare each offender for an orderly transition to community placement. The program structure is designed to address issues unique to pre- release offenders, with an emphasis on community stabilization, employment, relapse prevention, and preparation for supervised community living.

18 Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Mental Health Transition Program The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, along with other county government and community agencies, work in conjunction with one another to provide the best possible re-entry plans and services for individuals who are transitioning from the jail to the community. 19 Jefferson County Community Corrections The Community Corrections unit screens and recommends placement of adult and juvenile offenders diverted from incarceration and monitors offender progress and program compliance. 20 Larimer County Community Corrections Programs This section assesses client needs and risk to the community as well as their appropriateness to be supervised by Community Corrections. Staff interview potential clients, explain community corrections, complete standardized offender assessments and psychological testing or as needed. Information is obtained about residency, employment; past charges or convictions, escape risk, level of victim empathy and whatever else may be relevant to a given case. Staff presents the evaluation information to screening committees where a decision is made to either accept or reject the client for placement in LCCC.

24. DenverWorks DenverWorks is a faith-based nonprofit whose mission is to empower jobseekers to fulfill their God-given design through preparation for employment leading to self-sufficiency. 27. Colorado Innocence Project The CIP is not a substitute for the traditional methods of appealing a conviction. Therefore, the CIP will not take cases in which the defendant already has a lawyer, or is entitled to a lawyer at state expense. The CIP will not take a case unless there is a genuine and provable claim of innocence. The CIP gets involved only when the traditional methods of appealing a conviction have failed. Only Colorado cases arising in Colorado will be accepted (state and federal).

28. Unchained Books Unchained Books is a small group in Fort Collins, Colorado committed to prisoner support. 34. Community Re-Entry Project The Community Re-Entry Project is a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of re-entry resources under one roof. 35. Project ReNew Project ReNew is located inside the Denver Inner City Parish. It is a drop-in program that works with men living in Denver after release from prison or jail. Bus tokens are given out as available but they are limited. The ReNew job coach can help with a résumé or cover letter, and they have a computer lab available for job searches. Project ReNew also offers alcohol and drug counseling, clothing, and hygiene items.

44. Step-Up, Inc. Step-Up is a nonprofit that helps people coming out of jail and prison. Their faith-based program includes help preparing for and finding a job, life skills classes, computer classes, GED prep, and recovery support classes about topics such as healthy relationships, anger and domestic violence issues, and shame and guilt. 45. Shekinah Prison Ministries Shekinah Prison Ministries provides ministry to people incarcerated in prison and jail. Within your first 30 days of release, and for one time only, Shekinah Prison Ministries will supply a back pack with hygiene products, bus tokens, and food items.
