Location: Bentima House, Old Street Deadline: Friday 10th August 2012
Core Job Functions:
Co-ordinate all IFF and IIR MD events at external venues Co-ordinating logistical arrangements for in-company courses that run at client sites around the world Produce and update all post course questionnaires for IIR MD & IFF courses and collate and analyse these questionnaires Liaising with clients and trainers regarding the preparation and production of course materials Maintain stationary, binder and pen stock levels for IIR MD and IFF Maintain kitchen / catering stock levels Assist course co-ordinator with room set up and registration of courses during busy periods Registration of delegate at the start of each course Liase with trainers on matters relating to venue set up, logistics and administration Tracking, recording and coding of supplier invoices Logistical support for events running outside of the training centre (residential schools etc) Responsibility for closing the training centre at the end of each day
Interpersonal Skills:
The role involves contact with professionals from organisations all over the world. 60% of the visitors at the training centre will be from European countries. The visitors at the training centre range from junior managers to CEO level and all expect very high standard of service.
Excellent communication skills are absolutely essential in the role. You may be required to solve problems for clients or communicate changes and your ability to communicate with people from different cultures and background will be crucial.
Functional Skills:
The level of activity at the training centre can vary dramatically from week to week. It is essential that anyone applying for the post must be able to prioritise and manage his or her time and workload to a very high degree. Adherence to strict deadlines is a fundamental part of the role and usually there is no flexibility when it comes to deadlines. Ideal Candidate:
Someone with at least 2 years administrative / customer service / office experience Demonstrable experience of working in a deadline driven environment Experienced in face to face customer service High degree of competence working with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint Able to demonstrate robust communication skills Able to work flexible hours when requested Languages would be a bonus (German, French, Italian all beneficial)
Role Details:
Contract Temp - Maternity Cover Mid August 2012 to late March 2013 (may be extended) Core Hours 10am to 6pm - 5 days a week (some flexibility may be required in busy periods) Salary £21,000 Location Bentima House, Old Street
