Dear Parents/Carers,

On Friday 24th March we will be supporting Comic Relief in school. The Student Council have been busy organising some great fundraising activities which your children can participate in on the day: -

 Children can buy a red nose from Monday 20th Onwards. There is a limited supply so don’t leave it until the last minute. Noses cost £1

 On Friday 24th March children may come to school dressed as the nose that they are wearing, in red or have crazy hair for a £1 donation. PLEASE NOTE if your child has swimming on that day they are not allowed any hair colouring.

 All classes will be having a ‘Joke Off’ and the funniest joke from each class will be shared in assembly. This is free and just for fun!

 KS2 will have 4 activities on the playground at playtime. Each activity costs 50p : -

o Bottle flipping competition

o Pin the nose on the funny character

o Hoola hoop challenge

o The great red nose hunt

 At the end of the day before children are collected the whole school will be dancing on the playground to the Comic Relief 2017 song ‘Put a nose on it!’ We will all be learning about the good work that comic relief does around the world. We thank you in advance for supporting this very worthy cause. The day should be fun packed.
