Plimsoll Productions, an independent production company based in Bristol, is celebrating after winning the High Growth Business of the Year award, supported by the London Stock Exchange Group, at the British Chambers of Commerce’s annual Chamber Business Awards 2016. The Chamber Business Awards, now in its 13 th year, is one of the showpiece events in the business calendar, highlighting the role of business in delivering growth and prosperity for the UK and local communities.

The judges were impressed by the team’s commitment, tenacity and focus as their growth strategy looks to the American market, and their plans to produce successful UK shows from a base in the US where the scale of the orders are greater, as are the budgets.

The fast-growing company has also seen their turnover increase tenfold in just three years.

“Plimsoll Productions is a fantastic example of British business at its best. Truly deserving of the award, this company is operating on a global scale and continues to develop and win new business opportunities. This award recognises the focus, dedication and innovation of the team”.

Umerah Akram, Head of ELITE UK at the London Stock Exchange said:

“High growth small and medium sized businesses are the lifeblood of the UK economy which is why we are honoured to support the British Chambers of Commerce Awards and efforts.
