Donnelly—Candidate for Governor Tim Donnelly was elected to the California Assembly in 2010 and represents the 33rd Assembly District which covers San Bernardino County and includes main cities of Apple Valley, Barstow, Hesperia, San Bernardino and Victorville encompassing the eastern fringe of the LA Metro Area to the Nevada and Arizona borders. When he was elected in 2012, he received 59% of the vote to his Democratic challenger’s 41%. Mr. and Mrs. (Rowena) Donnelly are parents of five sons. Tim graduated from UC Irvine in 1989 and after working in his father’s small business for five years, he established his own business providing solutions to his customers manufacturing problems. Due to his experience as owner, he realized that government regulations are killing California’s prosperity, driving business out of the state and that government has become the fastest growing industry in California. Unwilling to watch the state fail, Tim became inspired to run for the Legislature. In the State Legislature, Tim serves on the Appropriations Committee, Rules Committee, Environmental Safety and Toxic Materials Committee, Joint Legislative Audit Committee and as Vice Chair of the Committee on Elections and Redistricting.
