A Word from your Author:
Today, I interviewed Odysseus. He shared his feelings and experiences with me, and his fantastic journey. I spend a lot of time thinking about how I should write this article and the whole time I thought ‘How can I put this piece together, that would please the gods?’ And I came up with an answer. To just share the great Odysseus’s story with all of Mt. Olympus. It is a piece about part of Odysseus’s return home and the struggles he faced. He was presented with temptation, fear, and near death. But he never gave up trying. He was determined to get home to his wife, Penelope, and his son, Telemachus. He didn’t care what was in his path, he told himself that he would succeed in his quest and that he would make it home to Ithaca. Next week we will have the second half of Odysseus’s story and the answers to the word search and maze. Don’t forget to go on the website and vote whether you think Poseidon should let go of his grudge against Odysseus and forgive him. Or if he should hold the hate in his heart towards Odysseus, and continue being determined to make his life a lively sea. Until next week, Morgan.
