We are seeking an Insurance Producer to market Group Benefits Programs to businesses. New Producers will be mentored by seasoned professionals and will also be supported by a team of in-house experienced Account Executives/Managers who will help to market/place business.

Job Summary: The Producer is responsible for prospecting, soliciting, quoting and selling New Accounts. Continuing to counsel and market to existing clients is another essential function of the position.

Primary responsibilities with respect to Clients: Oversee the management of an account, structure the proposed program, assist in the implementation of the program, and manage the relationship with the client going forward; reassessing and modifying the risk management program to develop as their business needs shift.

Primary responsibilities with respect to Prospects: Primary contact for understanding the business, evaluating needs and building the submission. Role is to obtain information, complete applications, write specifications for programs, and build strategic models with the client.

New Producers should be primarily responsible for the marketing of their prospects so that they may build relationships with carriers, understand the marketing of business and broaden their perspective on the insurance process.

Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree is required; substantial relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree  Business Analyst or Consulting experience (client facing) is required  Strong communication skills both verbal and written required  Strong critical thinking skills

Cobbs, Allen & Hall will pay a salary/commission and pay for licensing.
