Tyler Perry Will Join The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin to Celebrate The 86th Birthday of Dr. Joseph E. Lowery

[Atlanta, GA] – Tyler Perry, writer, producer, director and actor extraordinaire will take part in the 86th birthday celebration of Dr. Joseph E. Lowery on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at The Fabulous Fox Theatre. Mr. Perry will be on hand not only to celebrate the life of this living legend and leader, but he will also introduce legend and benefactor Aretha Franklin. It was Ms. Franklin’s idea to support the Joseph E. Lowery Institute with a benefit concert. “We want to fill the house, and to put it in Aretha’s words, we are going to rock the Fox,” stated Dr. Joseph E. Lowery.

Don’t miss this legendary night as dignitaries, along with Joseph E. Lowery Institute board members and the Atlanta community join in a celebration of the life and work of Reverend Lowery. The public is encouraged to purchase remaining tickets fast for this memorable night. An Evening With Aretha Franklin is a one night only concert. Tickets range from $50, $75 and $100.
