Login to Student eMail v2013

Welcome to the new Student eMail system at Coleg Llandrillo / Grwp Llandrillo Menai.

Student eMail (and other online tools) are being provided by Google Education through http://mail.gllm.ac.uk – a personal digital space.

Getting Started – Outside College If you are not in college, copy and paste the following link into your web browser

Add this web page to your favourites.

Getting Started – In College Login to a college computer (your tutor will give you your username and password).

Click on the Programs folder in the Application Launcher window.

See the task bar icon (below) if you cannot see the window (right).

Double click on the Student Email icon.

Your eMail login page looks like that shown below.

Your username is your student ID number and your password is the same one you use to login at college.

First Time Login The first time you login, you will need to setup your account by choosing your Language and typing the letters you see on your page.

Click on the I Accept button to create your account.

Your eMail Inbox should appear with a couple of messages from the Google Team.

Click on a message header to see the full message.

Click on Compose Mail to send an eMail.

mail.gllm.ac.uk Using your student email is fairly intuitive but see the Google Mail Help at http://mail.google.com/support/?hl=en . Also, look out for the more cloud.llandrillo handouts during the term.

NB: Google Chat is not currently available within your Student eMail.
