I am writing to you to express my concern for the safety of Oscar Arturo Orozco and Wilson Jaramillo: I urge you to take appropriate measures to protect them, in strict accordance with their wishes.

I call on the Colombian authorities to order a full and impartial investigation into the attack against Oscar Arturo Orozco and Wilson Jaramillo and other previous incidents against members of CUT Caldas. I urge you to publish the results and bring those responsible to justice

Please ensure to dismantle any paramilitary groups that continue to operate in the area and break any continued links with the security forces in line with repeated United Nations human rights recommendations.
