Praying Through to Saintly Dominion

PRAYING THROUGH TO SAINTLY DOMINION

Steam essentially consists of water molecules that have acquired enough energy to break through the bond that held them and therefore escape to freedom. The devil has held many people in bondage and captivity. However, we can acquire so much spiritual energy that we break free from the devil’s hold, we become too hot for the devil to handle and he therefore lets us go. Israel became too hot for Pharaoh and Egypt to handle and they therefore let them go (Exodus 5:1,2; 12:30-33). Prayer is the power source of the believer. It is the way to increase our spiritual temperature until we are too hot for the devil to handle. Every believer can pray through to saintly dominion no matter how fettered. Days of adversity are not meant to be fainting days but days of aggressive, passionate prayer (Proverbs 24:10; Luke 22:44-46).

PATTERN OF SATANIC DELAY Daniel 10:12-21; 1 Peter 3:7; Galatians 5:7; 1 Thessalonians 2:18; Romans 15:22; James 4:2; Matthew 26:36-46.

Satanic hindrance is a reality in the spiritual realm (1 Thessalonians 2:18; Romans 15:22). This is even more serious in the realm of prayer. The devil knows the power of prayer. He will either cause the believer to slumber in the place of prayer or completely distract him from praying at all (Matthew 26:36-46). It is difficult for God to answer unsprayed prayers. The scripture confirms that “we have not because we ask not” (James 4:2). However, when we have managed to break through this barrier and gotten down to the business of prayer, results sometimes seem to be far fetched. Often this is caused by satanic hindrance, the delay is not from God (Daniel 10:12-21; 1 Peter 3:7; Galatians 5:7).

PORTRAYAL AS SAVIOUR’S DENIAL Daniel 10:12-21; 1 Peter 3:7; Galatians 5:7; Genesis 3:1-6; Jeremiah 44:15-18; 2 Corinthians 2:11; Hosea 4:6; Isaiah 5:13; 1 Samuel 10:8; 13:8-14.

Satanic delay is not a major problem as this can be easily handled. However, it becomes more deadly when the devil paints the satanic delay as the Saviour’s denial, God’s unwillingness to grant us our request. The devil likes to paint God black, austere, forbidding, etc. This was his method with Eve (Genesis 3:1-6). This was his method with the people of Jerremiah’s time (Jeremiah 44:15-18). We should never be ignorant of this device of the devil (2 Corinthians 2:11; Hosea 4:6; Isaiah 5:13). The devil portrayed Samuel’s delay to come to Saul as total abandonment and this led Saul to go astray (1 Samuel 10:8; 13:8-14).

PRAYING THROUGH TO SAINTLY DOMINION Daniel 10:12-21; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5; Galatians 6:7-9; 1 Kings 18:1,41-46; Luke 18:1-8;

Thank God we have superior, spiritual weapons of warfare that are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of satanic strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). Irrespective of the satanic delay and hindrance, the believer can pray through to saintly dominion as Daniel did (Daniel 10:12-21). We can dismantle every form of satanic roadblock, clear away satanic cloud and barrier and break through to victory. The law of sowing and reaping operates also in the realm of prayer. If we sow in prayer, we shall reap joyful results in due season if we faint not (Galatians 6:7-9). Keep on praying. Perseverance and persistence in prayer brings mighty results (1 Kings 18:1,41-46; Luke 18:1-8). Hannah prayed through to fruitfulness (1 Samuel 1:1-28). Jabez prayed through to a victorious life (1 Chronicles 4:9,10). Jacob prayed through to changing his crooked name and distorted destiny (Genesis 32:22-32). Your breakthrough to victory, fruitfulness and dominion is on the way, keep on praying.
