 What is this job “really” like?  What types of things will you do each day?  What kinds of responsibilities will you have?  What is the physical work environment like?  What is the typical pay?  What type of hours will you probably work?  What are the pre-requirements (if any) for this type of work? (high school diploma, GPA, job experience…)  At what age do most people in this line of work retire?  How likely is it that the pay will increase with experience and by how much?  How much PTO will you get?  What kinds of “benefits” are typical in this line of work? (medical insurance, employer retirement contributions, sponsorships, college tuition assistance…)  Are there any age restrictions for this work (minimum OR maximum)?  Will this job provide on-the-job training that will help you advance?  How much demand is there for this type of work right now?  Will this work lead to other career opportunities?  Can you interview someone who actually DOES or DID this job…?
