Information to look for & put in your newsletter: Use the information Mrs. Miller gives you to help find the information.

 Name of the Art Movement/Style, How did it get its name?, What was the date of its existence?, What major country was it practiced in?

 World Events: What was going on in the world at that time…culturally, politically, world event, anything invented that influenced artists’ work at this time?  How is your new art different from art already known?, What makes it unique, special?, How did it change the direction of Art?, What are some cool/fun facts about this style of art?, What are the characteristics of this new art?

 Who is considered the leader/father of your new art? ALSO mention 2 more (total 3) artists that influenced this new art. How did they influence it? MUST also show 3 pictures per artist (total 9 pictures) that were their major accomplishments. Each picture MUST have a caption that has the title in English & the name of the artist who created it. Save pictures as JPEG not BITMAP. If you go to Google & type in the art movement & copy any of those pictures – WRONG – you MUST make sure it is a picture by the artists of your art movement’s time period not a “modern” version. I will know!

 What was the public & critics response to the “new” art?
