Venue rental  Contracts must be signed to secure rental  50% of venue rental is due with signed contract  Remainders of rental and additional fees (i.e. linens, security deposit, etc.) are due 1 week prior to event.

Caterer  Must be on DPA approved list (licensed and insured).  Catering kitchen available  Responsible for the set up and cleanup of their supplies and kitchen equipment  Client contacts directly with caterer for food options, payment goes through DPA.

Food and Beverages  No outside food and beverages are permitted. All food and beverages must be provided by DPA or approved caterer.  Soft drinks and bottled water are purchased from DPA only.  All alcoholic beverages are purchased, sold, and served by licensed DPA staff only. Note: All pricing and information are subject to change. 2016 Professional Photographer  Must be DPA approved prior to event  Photographer must sign DPA contract and pay fee prior to event.  Contracts directly with the client

Table cloths $10/table  Black and/or white (you may provide colored overlays)  DPA cloths will be placed when tables are set  Overlays (if chosen) will be the responsibility of the client for placement and removal at the end of the event

Decorations  Free standing  Helium balloons are not permitted in Discovery Center  Removal of decorations provided by you will be your responsibility following the event  All decorations are to be set by client

Security  A minimum of Two (2) off-duty Union City Policemen in addition to the Park security are required for proms, large groups with alcohol and large events held on park grounds  Must remain in the Venue for the duration of the Event  Contracts directly with the Client  Guest are only permitted in the contracted area  Park tickets are required for guests to visit Discovery Center and Park

Birthday Parties  $25.00 Room Rental Tuesday-Saturday 10:00am-11:00am or 3:00pm-4:00pm  All food is purchased through the Café (cake, dippin dots, pizzas, mini corndogs, chicken nuggets, drinks, etc.)  Tickets are not required to attend the party  Tickets are required for park entrance (discount is available with the purchase of twenty or more tickets with one method of payment) Baby Showers  $25.00 Room Rental Tuesday-Sunday during park hours  All food is purchased through the Café (cake, ice cream, fruit trays, dips, punch, etc.)  Tickets are not required to attend the baby shower  Tickets are required for park entrance (discount is available with the purchase of twenty or more tickets with one method of payment) Wedding Packages  Booking two wedding events with us (Wedding Ceremony and Wedding Reception) client will receive 10% off the total room rental purchase.  Booking three wedding events with us (Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Ceremony, and Wedding Reception) client will receive 20% off the total room rental purchase.
