Wetherby School are looking for career minded and enthusiastic Key Stage One / Two teacher to join our team from September 2017. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified, imaginative and driven teacher who works with equal efficacy independently and as part of a team. Applicants will join an innovative, forward-thinking and committed team.

Experience of teaching in Key Stage 1 or 2 is essential as is a thorough up-to-date knowledge and experience of the curriculum. What is also important is your ability to interact and support children in a positive way to foster their enthusiasm for learning, and to have the skills and maturity required to take on the Year 2 or 3 teaching duties and responsibilities.

Wetherby School is an Independent boys’ school (ages 2 ½ - 8) in Notting Hill with 340 boys. It is heavily oversubscribed and is extremely successful in securing pupils’ entry into the Preparatory School of their choice. It is part of the Alpha Plus Group of schools, which is one of the country's leading educational groups.

The Alpha Plus Group has its own salary scale, which is above the Central London Maintained Scale. A salary at the appropriate point on the Teachers’ scale will be offered to the successful candidate and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
