Posting Events to the DU Website

The Maryland Webmasters have the ability to load your event into the National Event System. This system is also used in the Maryland State Web Site to display events.

Your description of the event can be as simple or as robust as you desire, including posting (linking to) your flyer or even on-line-registration page.

All you need to do is email the information and your flyer (optional but very effective) to [email protected]

What you need to supply is: Event Name: Event Date: Event Type; (Dinner, banquet, bull roast, bingo, golf, shoot etc) Contact Name Contact Phone Contact email Description of event -the better you describe an event, the more likely you will get folks interested. It’s even a good idea to include the location, ticket price, venue, etc. see example.

Note that if you send an electronic copy of your flyer or registration material, the event site can link to your document (which will be uploaded and stored on the MD website)

Viewing Your Events

You can view events from the www.ducks.org community pages when you select Maryland Or At the Maryland site www.mdducks.com click on the “Events around the state”
