I am in charge of getting models to our Success Class this Thursday at 6pm. I would love to have you as my guest; and, all my models get $10 free as a thank you for coming! Tell me, what does your schedule look like for Thursday evening?

Turning a Facial Into a Class (After you have scheduled an appointment say…) You know, ______, its perfectly ok if its just me and you at your appointment. But if you decide to share your appointment with someone, you can earn free product! Either way I want you to know that I am coming for you. Tentative Date Booking Approach When someone at a class shares that they are not sure they could book because they don’t know their calendar, or if their friends could come, you say this: “Well, why don’t we do it this way. Let’s set a tentative date, with the understanding, that if we need to change it we can, OK?”

Warm Chatter Scripts  Excuse me, would you enjoy a gift bag of free MK samples? Have you tried MK before? Do you mind if I follow up to see how you liked them? How can I reach you? What was your name again? Nice to meet you! My name is Grace I’ll be in touch. Thank you!  Excuse me, I couldn’t help but notice you. I make it a point to extend my card to sharp women and you stand out in a crowd. Has anyone taken the time to offer you a complimentary facial or tell you about our career opportunity? Well, I would love to! How can I reach you?

Thank You Gift You've been (such a good friend, so helpful at work, terrific helping me pick out this dress, such a support) as my thank you I have a gift for you! I am a Mary Kay Consultant and I would love you give you a complimentary facial and a $5.00 gift certificate to spend at your facial. Booking a 15 minute on the go appointment This is a great alternative if someone says they are too busy to have a facial or class “I would love to stop by for just 15 minutes to show you ______(whatever item you have called her about, skin care, or lipstick, or fragrance, or whatever is new). You’ll be able to try the product on the back of your hand. Would it be better for me to stop over ______or ______” (offer 2 choices: after work, on your lunch hour, before work, in the evening, Saturday morning)

Booking an Interview  I am new with Mary Kay and I am working to earn my Pearls of Sharing. I need to talk to 6 women this month so I can learn the history of the company and how to work with different people. I know you are probably not interested in Mary Kay and that’s OK. If you could help me out, I will give you 50% off any single item in the catalog as a thank you for your time. We can even do a 3 way phone call that could easily fit into your schedule. Tell me which is better for you, daytime or evening?

 I have decided to move up into leadership in my Mary Kay business, and I’m very excited about it. One step in moving up is to select 6 women who love the product (or compliment 'who are outgoing' or 'who are sharp') and share the information about the career opportunity with them. I immediately thought of you! You may or may not be interested in Mary Kay, and that's OK. I would love to sit and share the facts of our Company with you and get your opinion. I will give you 50% off any single item in the catalog as a thank you for your time. Tell me which is better for you, daytime or evening?

Booking Success Tips From 26 year old Million Dollar Director Allison Lamar (Million Dollar Unit in her first 10 months as a Director!)

1. Mary Kay is totally mental - its all in your head - a mind game. Your thoughts drive your beliefs, and our beliefs drive your actions. Are you thinking BIG?

2. Visualization really works. Are you telling yourself that you can’t book? Or are you telling yourself that you are a booking machine, and customers are lined up outside your door? I know it sounds crazy, but the power of self-talk is astonishing.

3. Pick 2 or 3 booking ideas that you like and stick with them! Jumping around from plan to plan just creates frustration. Pick one, and stick with it until you figure out how to make it work for YOU.

4. This business is simple but not always easy. Think about it. If it were easy, everyone would do it. But you’re not everyone. You are you. As my Future National says, “God feeds the birds, but He doesn’t put worms in the nest.” Are you willing to step out of your comfort zone and MAKE things happen?

5. No means NEXT. One person will not make or break your business. Just keep working.

6. Do you think you need another booking idea? Or do you need a reason to make the ideas you’ve already heard work? THIS BUSINESS WORKS IF YOU DO.
