Spring Activities

 Club Meetings: Occur every other Thursday at 6 pm in WSLR 116. Some meetings we have guest speakers, recreation, and sometimes themes!

 Ag Week: An annual event in the spring that educates the students, faculty, and staff at Purdue University about agriculture.

o Ag Week Task Force Meeting - Tuesday, January 24th from 6:00-8:00pm Dean’s Auditorium in Pfendler Hall.

 Spring Awards Banquet: Our last and final activity for the academic year. Takes place in April and is a time to award achievements from the year, induct the new officer team, and spend time together one more time before summer.

www.four-h.purdue.edu/collegiate4h o Held on April 20th in Nelson Food Science building room 1215. Banquet is free if member meets the service activity requirements.

 Acheivement Trip: A fun trip that is taken in the spring semester to reward the members who have completed a pre-determined number of activities with Collegiate 4-H.

 Spring Fest: The weekend after Ag Week in the spring that is used to educate the general public about Agriculture.

o Held April 8-9 which is the weekend at the end of Ag Week. Club runs two booths: science and gold fish racing. Great fundraiser!

 IM Leagues: Sports that are played on teams through the Co Rec. We typically play Sand Volleyball and any other sport that a member really wants to play!

o Sand volleyball later in the semester.

 Officer Trainings: We travel around Indiana to county extension offices to teach 4-H members how to be better officers for their clubs and communities.

o Tippecanoe County - Jan 25th

 Murdock: A local elementary school that we attend for an hour each week to do 4-H activities, games, and crafts with the students.

o Pick up on Wednesdays at 2:40. Finish at 3:45, arrive back on campus around 4:00.

 Thank-A-Thon: A volunteer project for the Indiana 4-H Foundation where we call and thank donors for their generous gift to Indiana 4-H.

o Held on Thursday, February 2, at 5:30 in Freehafer hall, on south east side of campus.

Hot Chocolate Social:

 Wednesday, Jan 18th – Krannert Drawing Room at 5:30- 7:00. Club starts setting up at 5:00.

Current balance: $3,594.68

Dues are $10 for the semester. Checks made to Purdue Collegiate 4-H.
