* Games are played on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6:00pm * The game will consist of 7 innings, with 3 outs per half inning * ONLY FOUR [4] COACHES are permitted on the field and in the dugout, before and during the game. A scorekeeper is considered one of the coaches. A batboy or batgirl is allowed as long as they are a league player and the MUST wear a helmet [insurance purposes] * 9 players in the field defensively----batting order---batting out of order----the proper batter is out----cannot play with 8 players * Any player in the starting line up who has been removed for a sub may re enter the game one time---return to the original spot in the line up---a pitcher cannot ` return to pitch * Pitchers cannot pitch in more than 7 innings in one calendar day and no more than 10 innings in a calendar week. After pitching 4 or more innings, they must have 40 hours rest * One pitch counts as an inning * Balks will be called. All players must be in fair territory before the pitch is thrown * Extra Hitter can be used----if extra hitter starts the game and someone gets hurt, the 10th spot becomes an automatic out---if one team bats 10, the other team doesn’t have to bat 10---extra hitter must be in the lineup for 2 consecutive innings and must bat once * The batter must keep one foot in the batter’s box at all times in order to speed up play PENALTY---umpire will call play ball & call the pitch a strike [Unless forced out of the batters box in the umpires judgement] * Each player must play 2 innings [12 consecutive outs] * All players must have entered the game by the top of the 6th inning before the first pitch * Home team winning by ten---visiting team must bat in the 5th inning * Home team losing by ten-----must bat in 5th inning * There is a 15 Run Rule in effect after the 4th inning * The infield fly rule, dropped 3rd strike, bunting and leading off base are in effect * NO parents or non coaches are allowed on the field or in the dugout, before or during the game [insurance purposes] * Pitchers starting the game will get 8 warm up pitches---5 warm up pitches between innings new pitchers coming into pitch will get 8 pitches. Unless there is an injury to the previous pitcher the new pitcher is allowed as many as needed. * Keep catchers ready between innings, unless catcher is batting or on base---when changing catchers have the new catcher ready---coaches should warm up pitcher if catcher is getting ready---any player serving as a catcher to warm up a pitcher shall wear a mask, whether the pitcher is warming up from the mound,in the bullpen, or elsewhere] * Players who intentionally, in the judgement of the umpires, throw bats or protective headgear, shall be ejected from the game following completion of any play in progress at the time the violation occurs. Such action does not constitute an out and such players shall be replaced as batters or base runners if appropriate. League umpires will give a warning for unintentional throwing, but player will be ejected the 2nd time. Coaches address the throwing of bats & helmets at practice. It will help at game time. Helmets are to be kept on until the player is in the dugout * When a player/coach is suspended contact Player agent or President---let opposing manager know---player must be in uniform on the bench for suspended game----coaches will not be permitted on site * Pitching gets called into the Bronco Commissioner by home team manager----within 24 hours----what teams played, the score, first and last name of pitchers, and how many innings they pitched * Scheduling of rainouts---within one week---1st available date---if not rescheduled within one week, VESTA Player Agent will reschedule the game * APPEAL play----must appeal to the umpire who made the call--the other umpire cannot BRONCO

give the appeal---if the other umpire is approached first, no appeal can be given * Metal spikes are allowed to be worn in this division * NO COURTESY RUNNERS * NO AUTOMATIC INTENTIONAL WALK-----batter must be pitched to * [Pony rule book---Cell phones, pagers or any other types of communication devices cannot be used on the field of play] * NO JEWELRY---only medical jewelry---taped to body * NOT PERMITTED---the use of tobacco, alcohol, or illegal drugs in any form by players or adult leaders at game time  All other rules will be covered by Pony Rule Book First, then Official MLB Rulebook
