Welcome Students to our 34th season! September 2017

We have had a very busy summer. Miss Fran, Miss Olivia, and Miss Krystal attended a very educational and inspiring Dance Teacher Summit in CA. Our staff studied with Mandi Moore, choreographer (Dancing with the Stars), Travis Wall and Stacey Tookey, choreographers (So You Think You Can Dance), plus a host of other master teachers.

Our recital fundraiser was a huge success $2105.00 was donated in the name of my mother, Pauline “Gabby” Jones to Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Thank you to all who donated. Important handouts relating to costumes, pictures, rehearsals, recitals, etc. are in pdf. format and can be printed. This is the best way to keep informed!

HERE IS SOME INFORMATION TO GET STARTED: TUITION: Lessons are pre-paid one month at a time and is due the first class of each month. A calendar of scheduled classes is available so that you can calculate your fees for the year (September-June). Lessons paid late are subject to a $5.00 late fee. If no one is in the office, please put payment in the lock box hanging on the wall outside the office. If you have cash, you can put it in an envelope. Envelopes are located on the reception counter.

Lesson Prices are as Follows: 1 hour per week- $12.50 1½ hour per week- $18.50 2 hours per week- $25 Unlimited is divided by levels according to the number of classes a single student takes per week. Level 1- (2 ½ - 3 hours)- $115 Level 4- (5 ½ - 6 hours)- $169 Level 7- (8 ½ - 9 hours)- $219 Level 2- (3 ½ - 4 hours)- $139 Level 5- (6 ½ - 7 hours)- $184 Level 8- (9 ½ - 10 hours)- $236 Level 3- (4 ½ - 5 hours)- $155 Level 6- (7 ½ - 8 hours)- $199 Level 9- (10 ½ - 11 hours)- $247

A Family Budget Plan is available for families with two or more dancers taking four or more hours a week. Please see Miss Jodie regarding these fees. Solos, duos and trio fees are extra and should be added to your monthly tuition, they are as follows: Solos=$60 per month Duos= $40 per month, per person

ATTENDANCE: If you miss a class you are asked to make it up by coming to an alternate class. All students with perfect attendance or make up all their classes will receive a medal at the end of the year. Missed lessons may not be deducted from lesson fees.

CLASS ATTIRE: We expect that girls wear a leotard, or tight fitting tank shirt with tights, leggings, or booty shorts to every class. No t-shirts or sweatshirts are permitted over the leotard during class. You will not be able to attend class if not dressed appropriately. We cannot make corrections to your alignment if you wear baggy clothes! If you have questions about appropriate attire please ask your teacher.

COSTUMES: Just so you can Plan Ahead… In October you will receive a bill for a costume, which will be due October 31. Prices vary (estimate $63-$75). Costumes are special order and can take up to 12 weeks! Last season we had many that did!

SCHEDULE CHANGES: If you add or drop a class, please notify someone in the office so we can update your registration card and be sure that the proper costume or costumes are ordered for you!
