Full description Undertake training to obtain recognised qualifications Complete assignments on time Attend team meetings and contribute relevant ideas Under supervision provide all aspects of care for children including washing, changing and feeding Ensure the Setting is a high quality environment, which meets the needs of individual children from differing cultures, religious backgrounds and stages of development Provide adult interaction with children Be aware of and implement the setting's policies Support all staff and engage in teamwork Attend training, monthly staff meetings, parents/carers evenings etc in the evening or at weekends as required Contribute to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness Respect the confidentiality of information received

The position is advertised for 30 hours per week but the apprentice may be required to work more hours on a wage of £2.73 per hour.

There is a performance bonus of up to £100 month available.
This position requires a Criminal Record Check due to working with vulnerable children and young people. Reality Check The nursery is from 7.15am until 6pm. The apprentice will be required to work a variety of shifts.
