The Common Application The Common Application is a not-for-profit membership organization that, since its founding, has been committed to providing reliable services that promote equity, access, and integrity in the college application process. It serves students, member institutions, and secondary schools by providing applications that students and school officials may submit to any of its over 600 members.
FAFSA To receive consideration for student financial aid, students need to fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every school year. This site will take you to an on-line version of the form needed to apply for federal and state student grants, work-study and student loans. The FAFSA will be available to complete on October 1.
CSS/Financial Aid Profile The CSS/Profile is the financial aid application service of the College Board. A number of private colleges and universities require students to complete this form in addition to the FAFSA in order to assist them in awarding financial aid.
NCAA Clearinghouse In order to participate in college athletics at the Div. I or Div. II level and receive athletically-based financial aid, you must register with the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse and meet eligibility standards. You must have a valid U.S. Social Security Number and a VISA or MasterCard. Remember to request that an official transcript be sent from your college counselor to the NCAA as well.
