Job Title: SALES SUPPORT ASSISTANT Reports To: Sales Support Supervisor Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours pw: 9am-5:30pm Contract: FTC, 12 months

Job Purpose: Supporting the Newmarket Sales Team, the role is customer focused with the ability to work in a team and under your own initiative. Liaising with individual Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce and SCS team members plus Newmarket partners is a key element. Administrative tasks include the provision and supply of artwork, promotional material and reports required by our myriad of clients, ensuring deadlines, schedules and promotional campaigns are met and delivered. Further key competencies are to liaise with the Marketing team aiding them in the production process of campaign materials as required. The role will also include cross team communication and excellent internal and external customer service must be provided.

Key Accountabilities:  An integral part of the Newmarket Sales Team, providing administrative support for management, account managers and a point of contact for all Newmarket partnerships  Answering incoming calls from newspapers and travel agents & dealing with the matters arising  Regular checking & reporting of regional & national press ads that are scheduled to appear in paper  Checking supplements, mailers and any marketing initiatives and campaigns, particularly in ensuring accuracy in the detail and final sign off  Undertaking weekly and monthly client booking updates and reports  Setting up new travel agents on Taurus/TigerBay for access to our web site.  Providing sales copy and images as requested by those clients that produce their own artwork  Any other ad hoc duties as directed assisting Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce and SCS. Cross team duties in peak workload periods
