Company: Reliance Tech Services, Mumbai, India (Oct 2010 till Jan 2013)

Projects on DTH (Direct to Home): DTH stands for Direct To Home. It is come under Home line of business from Reliance Communications.

DTH is nothing but Satellite Television service offered by Reliance to its customers similar to sun direct, dish tv.etc. DTH does away with the need for the local cable operator and puts the broadcaster directly in touch with the consumer. Only cable operators can receive satellite programmers and they then distribute them to individual homes.

Projects comprises of End to End testing of BSS applications like CRM (Clarify 13.1), SDP (Service Delivery platform), TIBCO, Billing (Singl-eView), Dunning and CAS (Conditional Access System).

 Application Name - CRM – ClariFy Version 13.1

The Clarify is Amdocs CRM package used for maintaining customer details in the database. It also contains the information about current customer attributes, address details, Billing Information, recent interactions, etc.

 Application Name - SDP

Service Delivery platform (SDP) is a master database of schemes, offers, customer details & their services details. SDP is used to configure the circles, schemes, offers & products and store in its own database. SDP captures all the transaction happened on the customers.

 Application Name - TIBCO

TIBCO is a middle ware which is basically used to transfer the data from one application to another. TIBCO receives the requests from various sources such as Clarify, SMS & IVR and sends the same to downstream systems such as SDP, ADC,CAS & SAP.

 Application Name - BILLING(Singleview)

Singleview Convergent Billing delivers fully integrated modules for rating, discounting, bill production, and real-time processing to protect against error and fraud. It handles multiple languages and currencies enabling geographic expansion, and makes it easier to design, de- liver, and bill the products customers want. It’s an application which charges the customers based on customer's usage and generates the invoice for the same.

Description: Project is designed to introduce proration in equipment charges based on change in scheme code, dish type and state depending on which Entertainment Tax will be applied more

Project: Service Tax Upgrade 2012 Role: Business Analyst Environment: CRM, TIBCO, Billing, SDP (Service Delivery platform)

Description: Project was designed to apply 12.36% Service Tax instead of 10.3% on priority bases to the services provided to the DTH Customers as per the government rule introduced in March 2012 before executing the Bill Run Cycle in the production environment.

Description: A robust Clarify Customer Relationship Management Web Application. Existing ClariFy Web Application has issues in the areas of functionalities, user interface, Processes and hence ClariFy Web Application has Re-Engineered as ICare to overcome the existing ClariFy Web Application issues. This application interacts with the Billing system and N/W Management system to fulfill various customer requests.

Responsibilities:

Description: The objective of the project is to upgrade from the current version of CRM v6.1 to Classic Client v8.1 as part of core upgrade while upholding existing functionalities as it is.

Description: DTH (Direct To Home) Erecharge provides the DTH Customer recharge facility of their DTH accounts through SMS or through ICare application. DTH Erecharge consists of three stake holder as Distributor, DSR, and Retailer.

Responsibilities:  Gather business requirements in the area of sales commissions related to the logistics and supply chain activities of businesses.  Design & Document the functional specifications for the different RICEFW objects for the functionalities that will have to be custom developed.  Identified the Test requirements based on business requirements of the application.  Design and Develop Test cases to verify the system functionality with respect to requirements.  Perform cutover activities for Go live that include final system preparation, generating pricing routines, setting up master data, performing conversion and data migration activities.  Review of documentations and understanding the scope of different Change Requests.  Prepare and publish the Test Plans, Test Cases.  Installation and configuration of CR releases in Test Environment.  Execution of Test Cases and issue reporting, and keeping track of defect’s resolution.  Regression testing, Integration testing with respect to different downstream systems.  Prepare and publish the Test Completion report and give user training.  Assist in resolution of post go live defects of critical & high priorities.  Develop knowledge transfer documentation.  Provide project status reports to all levels of project management.  Develop accurate documentation that complies with company standards.
