October 22, 2017 PRO-LIFE NEWS – AN URGENT APPEAL ... 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time Dear Pro-Life Supporter, “Ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.” On behalf of 40 Days for Life, thank you for your support of the unborn, those innocent babies who do not have a voice. We are in need of more volunteers, especially in light of the protestors who keep showing up at the site. At times she is joined by multiple friends. A SPECIAL MASS for people dealing with cancer or other health concerns, for their families and caregivers, and for cancer survivors – Saturday, November 4th, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 305 Laurentian Drive, Kitchener. The celebrant and homilist will be Bishop Emeritus Matthew F. Ustrzycki of Hamilton Diocese. The Sacrament of the Sick will be administered by the Bishop and priests. A MESSAGE from FATHER ED HINSPERGER Once again next year – from Friday, February 2nd, to Sunday, February 11th, 2018 – I will be going on my annual trip to Kingston, Jamaica. I would like to invite you to join me on this upcoming trip to spend time with people of Holy Name of Jesus Parish and the children of Marcus Garvey Basic School (75 children ages 4, 5 and 6). Other activities will be to assist for a few hours a day on some projects that both men and women are able to do. The approximate cost per person would be $1,400.00 Canadian.
