Julie’s Ooey-Gooey Brownie Recipe

1. Bake your favorite box of brownies, (but follow the cake-like directions.) 2. Once those are cooled completely, spread the frosting center over the entire pan. Mix one stick of butter with one pound of powdered sugar (one cup at a time), two tablespoons of milk, and one teaspoon of vanilla. If the mixture seems too thick, add one more tablespoon of milk. 3. Once that is done, you will add the yummy chocolate top! Melt one stick of butter with one cup of chocolate pieces (chips). Use bitter-sweet or semi- sweet pieces. When it is melted (but not boiling!) pour it over the pan of brownies—spread with a spatula. 4. Chill in fridge for about 30 minutes (the brownies, not you!) to help the chocolate topping set. You can serve them cold or at room temperature. 5. Enjoy!
