Whatever your plans may be, look no further: Lissanoure Castle offers the perfect setting with breath-taking views in every direction. A stunning venue steeped in history and heritage - Lissanoure Castle offers the grandeur that can only come with a castle and its grounds. The privately owned estate can be found at the foot of the amidst a natural backdrop of woodlands, green fields and lakes. The old ruins exude a sense of nostalgic beauty.

The Castle Courtyard and stables have been converted into two wonderful entertaining rooms divided by an entrance hall. All the reception rooms have large open fires. On one side of the hall is the fully furnished Macartney Room with a bar and open fire. The dining room on the other side can seat up to 120 people. In an adjacent building to the Castle Courtyard lies a much larger reception room known as The Barn, seating between 200 – 400 people. It can also be screened off for smaller weddings and events. It has a gigantic dance floor, comfortable seating around an open fire and a fully licensed, staffed and well-stocked bar. There is a fully fitted catering kitchen in both buildings and we have an extensive list of recommended caterers and suppliers to help you choose delicious food, perfect decorations and memorable photography to suit you and your plans for the day. Lissanoure Castle has ample car parking space. From and Belfast City Airport, approximately 1 hour Take the M2 north towards and Coleraine. Leave the M2 at junction 1 and follow the signs for Ballymena and Coleraine on the A26. Then follow instructions below for A26 route.

From Aldergrove (Belfast International Airport), approximately 45 minutes On leaving the airport, turn left and head towards Antrim. Drive through Antrim, following signs for M2 and A26 for Coleraine and Ballymena. Once you have come to a large roundabout (junction 1 of M2). follow signs for A26 towards Ballymena and Coleraine. Then follow instructions below for A26 route.

A26 route from Junction 1 of M2 From junction 1 of M2, follow signs for A26 towards Ballymena and Coleraine. Follow the A26 as it by-passes Ballymena (for a short while the A26 turns into motorway but then back into dual-carriageway) and subsequently follow signs for Coleraine and Ballycastle. The dual- carriageway (A26) then turns into a two-lane road. Shortly after, you will drive through two avenues of Scots pine trees, 2.3 miles later, take the right-hand turn for Ballycastle, A44. Stay on the A44 for 2.2 miles and then take the right-hand turn signposted Loughguile (Knockahollet Road). Please refer to map as the entrance for Lissanoure Castle is 2 miles from this turn.

From Limavady and Londonderry Take the A2 from Londonderry to Limavady and then the A37 to Coleraine. From the Coleraine bypass, follow signs for Belfast, on the A26. Bypass and continue for approximately 4 miles (if you reach a new stretch of dual-carriageway, you have gone too far). Take the left-hand turn for Loughguile (the Knockahollet Road) and then refer to map. If you are coming from further afield, we recommend that you refer to http://www.theaa.com click on ‘get route’, type in your location and destination as Loughguile, Co. Antrim or post code BT44 9JP. You will then be able to print out directions for your journey. The other alternative is http://www.multimap.com and once again type in the postcode.
