Position Title: XL Greenhouse Laborer Location: Alturas, Reports To: XL Greenhouse Project Manager Status: Temporary, Limited duration, Full Time Pay: $12.00/Hr. # of positions available: 5 (five)

Summary: The Tribe is a Tribe comprised of eleven (11) autonomous bands that since time immemorial have resided in the area known as the 100-mile square, located in parts of Shasta, Siskiyou, Modoc, and Lassen Counties in the State of California. KWAHN Corporation is the economic development catalyst of the Pit River Tribe. The XL Ranch Greenhouse Project is located in Alturas, California. This is a temporary limited duration position therefore no additional benefits are available.

Laborer Duties:

• Laborer will be working at the XL Ranch Greenhouse at the directive of the XL Greenhouse Project Manager. • Laborer must be able to follow orders from Project manager and work autonomously when necessary • Laborer must understand the proper technique of lifting and moving equipment safely and occasionally lift 50 pounds. • Laborer respects and adheres to on the job safety precautions • Laborer performs cleaning, sweeping, organizing and rearranging functions • Laborer works in seasonally warm environment • Laborer conducts minor repairs and construction duties • Laborer performs other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred. • Must be over 18 years of age. • Experience as a laborer or warehouse worker helpful

• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods • Good organizational and time management skills • Ability to lift heavy objects • High school Degree or GED • Ability to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends if needed. Physical, Environmental and Intellectual Conditions:

• Ability to frequently walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time. • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. • Ability to frequently bend, squat and/or stoop. • Ability to frequently reach, climb and/or crawl. • Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, including variations in temperature and precipitation. NOTE: If the laborer performs well in this position there is a possibility of an extended job as the project progresses but Laborer must have excellent attendance, appositive attitude and job performance to be considered for future positions with KWAHN and the Greenhouse Project.
