I can string my Ordination make me different? In words together, I can write an essay reality it doesn’t. However, the very or paper, I can speak about my faith structure of the church and even and experience in God but it does not the expectations of society lead to a stop me from being as vulnerable as separation. Yes, I did feel called to lead anyone else. I see this as a help and not and this was tested by the church until a hindrance. A help because it grounds finally the Church (Church in Wales in me and helps me to understand the my case) was content to allow the struggles we all face from time to time.

St Mary’s Church, Limpley Stoke, Sunday 29th March, 6.00pm

Come and join us for a service commemorating the lives of the departed, either those recently departed or those from the more distant past.

We hope this will be a very special service of reflection and thanksgiving for those who have gone before us and there will be a chance to light a candle in remembrance.

Anyone from the three villages is invited to choose hymns, readings, prayers and poems to celebrate life.

If you would like to explain the significance of your choice during the service that would be very special but not compulsory! I am sure that it will all speak for itself and can remain personal to you.

If you would like to choose something for us to include please email David Sibley, organist and churchwarden, with your choice as soon as possible, but certainly by Sunday 22nd March, to give us time to prepare a service sheet.

Contact David on 01225 722026 or [email protected]. If there are lots of requests, we may have to select them by pulling from a hat.

Forest school has enabled the children to be creative in the environment, using clay to create tree faces, using natural items for the features. STEM has been a great tool for the children to discover the way things work, problem solving and taking the initiative in activities. STEM (Science, technology, engineering and maths) has allowed us to look closely at the water cycle, how to connect different materials, make our own rain cloud and create a walking rainbow.

30 Yoga this month was all about bending and stretching, and it is great to see the children so settled into the structure of the sessions, and being fully involved in all the activity. This could also be seen in the lovely music session our chair of of the committee ran for us, and it is evident how repetition is key for the preschoolers to thrive. Our new liaison health visitor commented on the children’s high levels of engagement and involvement when she visited our setting to introduce herself. As we look to the new term, we are looking forward to having time with the parents to discuss their child’s time We looked at the Chinese New Year at preschool, as well as taking part in which gave us the opportunity to think World Book Day. 34 LADIES BRUNCH

Saturday March 21st 2020

Last month more than 30 women joined us for a delicious brunch of cereals, pastries, breads, fruit, preserves, muffins, juice, yoghurt, cheeses and meats, and heard a moving talk by Lindy Taylor on “Loosed Women”.

We’d love you to join us for our next friendly and inspirational gathering when our speaker will be Esther Matthews. Esther is an artist, dog walker, piano player, wife and mother of four boys. Her Christian faith affects every part of her life and she has a desire to share God’s love with others.

Come and join us on March 21st, 10am-12noon, for a relaxing morning being treated, supported and made to feel special.

Donations of £3 suggested towards brunch and running costs.

Future dates: 9th May and 11th July. Contact Lindy on 01225 723570 or email [email protected]
