The Prince Llewelyn, named aptly after the Prince of from 1258 until his death at Cilmeri in 1282, overlooks the beautiful river and bridge in the centre of Beddgelert, a village in the heart of . This three-storey, stone built, traditional pub underwent a refurbishment of the trading area but still retains many original features. The main bar serves the lounge with an open fire and stone feature walls. A separate dining room can be used for dining overspill or residents’ breakfast and there is a coffee shop to the rear which opens onto a patio area to the front of the pub. There is a large catering kitchen and storage area to the rear. Over the first and second floors there are seven letting rooms – two with shared facilities – ideal for tourists visiting the picturesque area. TRADING As you walk into the centre of the village of Beddgelert, directly opposite the beautiful site of the River Colwyn and the picturesque bridge which crosses it, you are met with the outstanding figure of a three storey, stone built, traditional pub, The Prince Llewellyn, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. As you enter the pub from the main street, you are met with a lobby/reception area with stairs to the upper floors. To the left, the main bar serves the lounge with an open fire and stone feature walls. There is a traditional wooden and stone bar which serves an array of Robinsons cask and kegged beers, and a great selection of wines and spirits. To the left there is a separate dining room that can be used for dining overspill or residents’ breakfast, there is also a coffee shop area to the rear which opens onto a patio area to the front of the pub which can seat up to 40 people. The whole pub when full, can seat up to 80 people comfortably. There is a large well equipped catering kitchen and storage area to the rear. Over the first and second floors are 7 letting room, which are a mixture of doubles and triples, two of the rooms share facilities, where the others are en-suit. The rooms have been kept to a good standard, ideal for tourists, particularly those on a budget, visiting Snowdonia National Park and beyond. There are a further 4 rooms, spread over the two floors, which are currently being used to house staff and as staff rooms, however, there could be potential to enhance these rooms to a lettable standard.
