PUBLIC CONSULTATION NO. 3 – EMERGING PREFERRED ROUTE CORRIDOR County Council (RCC) is working in association with Transport Infrastructure Ireland to develop a scheme to upgrade a 15km section of the N61 National Secondary Route between Ballymurray & Knockcroghery. Six Route Corridor Options were published for the scheme in November 2019. The Project Team has undertaken an appraisal of the Six Route Corridor Options and identified the Emerging Preferred Route Corridor.

Details of the Emerging Preferred Route Corridor will be published at 6pm on Monday the 14th December 2020 on the project website www.N61Roscommon.ie. The information pack will contain maps of the Emerging Preferred Route Corridor, details of the selection process, details of the consultation process and a feedback form. An information leaflet will be delivered to properties within/relative to the other 5 corridors on or after the 15th December 2020 advising them that the Emerging Preferred Route Corridor has been identified and the public consultation process has commenced.
