LIVING ROOM TV 1 / 2006

Colin Nutley dreams himself away to Oasis

Keith Foster kicks off the last season of his talkshow Living Room with two Englishmen who have settled in . They are director Colin Nutley and bass player for rock band Oasis, Andy Bell.

- Oasis are one of my favourite bands, says Colin. Their music is timeless and reminds me of home…

Colin’s new film Heartbreak Hotel has just opened, and Oasis’ world tour is about to finish. The two Brits talk about music and film, and they also take the chance to have a dig at the quiet and shoeless Swedes.

Swedish/Scottish singer Emily McEwan has also joined the show today, and she performs her song Losing the one you love.

For this season, Keith has ventured out to New Zealand and brought home a whole bunch of breathtaking reports from the small country with the great scenery, and not least the filming landscape of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The first report is in fact about the booming New Zealand film industry, and Keith asks Colin Nutley if such a boom could happen here.
