Father’s Day Edition! OFFICERS THANK YOU to the Cowboy Action Shooters for letting us use two

PRESIDENT of their stages for the Fun Shoot. The theme, of course, was Old LEN SIPE West Cowboys and the 847-6818 [email protected] targets were messy, wet,

VICE PRESIDENT fairly easy (except for the CHRIS LIZARRAGA tombstone rack with 547-0620 [email protected] a .22) and Fun! Also, in

TREASURER honor of Father's Day, the ROY BOYD 1st relay for each "Dad" 823-4485 [email protected] was free. We only had 3 relays because most Dad's SECRETARY GLORIA SCHMIDT had to get back home to 835-8298 [email protected] their families. Anyway, here are the latest SERGEANT AT ARMS JOE KROEZE scores and rankings. 523-7057 [email protected]

May 27 • Durham Ferry – Not to be confused with the sound of one hand clapping, this shoot was executed with sidearms held with one hand. There was an exception made for hombres using the other hand for another gun. It was an experience for those folks who usually work the hammer with one hand and the trigger with the other. There was much mirth and laughter. A Gunfighter, One Eyed Fat ManMan, prevailed both in category and overall followed by a string of Senior Dualists led by Gus Buck SilverSilver. Topeka Bull Durham and Cool Water Mike grabbed Classic Cowboy and Outlaw respectively. Dirty Pete came the nearest to shooting a clean match. We should probably do this again in eight or ten years. That’s how it was Down By The River. Dirty Pete slipped into the third spot and took the Elder Statesman braggin’ rights. Rev Barry M Deep actually missed some targets but was the top gun in 49er.
