The air quality monitoring locations were established and the results obtained are summarized below.

The minimum and maximum level of PM (<2.5 & 10 µ size) were recorded in the study area ranging from 20.8 to 34.5µg/m3 with the 98th percentile ranging between 29.5 µg/m3 to 33.9 µg/m3 for 2.5 µ. and 49.5 to 72.3 µg/m3 with the 98th percentile ranging between 58.3 µg/m3 to 71.0 µg/m3 for 10 µ size particulates.

The air quality monitoring locations were established and the results obtained are summarized below.

The minimum and maximum level of SO2 were recorded in the study area was in the range of 8.2 µg/m3 to 15.8 µg/m3 with the 98th percentile ranging between 11.9 µg/m3 to 15.2 µg/m3. The minimum and maximum levels of NOx were recorded in the study area ranging from 10.1 µg/m3 to 16.5 µg/m3 with the 98th percentile ranging between 13.5 µg/m3 to 16.5 µg/m3.

The 24 hourly average values of PM (<2.5 & 10 µ size), SO2 &NOX were compared with the NAAQS – CPCB Standards (2009) and it was found that the recorded values in all the sampling stations were within the applicable limits.
