Core and Settlement Simply put… Strategy + The Core Strategy deals with how the County will develop over the next 6 years and where development is directed.
The Draft Plan has enough land zoned for approximately 5,000 homes which includes homes in our larger towns such as Portlaoise, Graiguecullen, Portarlington, = Mountrath and Abbeyleix, smaller towns such as Rathdowney and Durrow, villages such as Clonaslee and Borris In Ossary and also the open countryside.
