Our heliski weekends in Gressoney on the sunny side of the Monte Rosa. Gressoney, on the south side of the Monte Rosa, is the gateway to paradise for skiers, snowboarders and freeriders, offering every day new experiences. All this in one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in the Alps. Our heliski area extends from the Matterhorn, crossing the Breithorn massif until the southeast side of Monte Rosa. With over 20 landing sites, more than 60 runs and the unique mountain scenery, the area is one of the most spectacular and varied heliski area of the Alps. In the Monte Rosa everybody will find independently of snow- , avalanche- and weather-conditions, the perfect terrain and unique experiences. Snow conditions: Thanks to the altitude of the area and the weather influence from the south, the Monte Rosa massif experience heavy snowfall all winter long. From December to mid-March you can find here mostly powder snow conditions. Till early March we can still ski in mostly perfect condtion. Maximize your Heli-Skiing time with our small groups: Small groups mean shorter waiting times between runs, so you can make the most of your time on the mountain. By using smaller, more agile helicopters, you can explore further and deeper into our majestic playground. We work with a maximum of 4 participants per mountain guide. The Hotel Dufour *** in Gressoney La Trinite is located 3-minute walk from the lifts (Punta Jolanda). The hotel offers new luxury rooms, suites and a new spa area with sauna and whirlpool. The rooms have TV, telephone, bathroom and some offer a private Jacuzzi. The hotel's restaurant serves excellent Italian cuisine.

The Chalet du Lys **** offer a warm and comfortable atmosphere for unforgettable days. Located in Staffal only a 2 min walk away from the ski slopes. The hotel has a beautiful Spa and the rooms are large and comfortable. The restaurant's chef will amaze you with his imagination, you will taste the best local products and the Mediterranean flavours for sure all accompanied by a fine selection of wines.

The hotel de Gletscher*** is located in Stafal as well nearby the cable car. It has 12 nice double rooms with WC, shower and TV. After skiing you can relax in the hotel's spa, with a Turkish bath, a Finnish sauna, and a Kneipp path. The breakfast buffet offers sweet, savoury and natural products from the region, providing the necessary power for the skiing days. In the evening, the hotel is serving the guests a multi-course menu.

The hotel Nordend*** is located in Stafal a 5-minute walk from the ski lifts. It features a spa area (sauna, steam room ...). and modern rooms with TV, telephone and bathroom. The nearby restaurant da Giovanni serves in the evening excellent italian cuisine.

Itinerary: 1st day: Arrival to Gressoney meeting at 5.30 p.m. in the hotel. Welcome meeting with the guide, preview of the program for the next days, material check. 2nd-4th day: Everyday depending on snow-, weather- and avalanche conditions you will have the opportunity for heliski. In case of bad weather we will go skiing off-piste in the Monterosa Ski area. At the end of the last skiing day the guide will collect the rental equipment. Additional helicopter flights in a group of 4 participants: 135.00 – 210.00 Euro per person and flight depending on the landing place (per flight and person - flight tax included- flight in a group of 4 participants. Flight prices increase with a smaller group). The vertical drops depending on the landing place lie between 1000vm and 2400vm. Refund helicopter flights in a group of 4 participants: In the case of wind, bad weather or avalanche risk we refund 115.00 Euro per flight and person. No refund will done, in case of illness, accident, deficiency of physical shape – lack of condition, bad skiing level, late arrival and breaks during the skiing days.

Requirements: You will need to be able to go off-piste, and fit enough to cope skiing off-piste up to 6000 vertical meters a day. For group bookings, we can adjust to the individual skiing skills and group level.

Additional costs: Additional helicopter flights (see point additional helicopter flights), additional flight taxes (10,00€ per person and flight), ski pass if necessary, rental equipment not included, lunch, drinks, and all other services are not included.
