Games

 Simon Says Animals- Simon says, but with the addition of mimicking animal behaviors/movement

 First Impressions- Bring up pictures of animals and have kids write down on chalkboards what they think of regarding that animal, and then follow it up with facts about them

 Animal Trivia Hopscotch- Kids progress in a game of hopscotch by answering animal trivia questions

 Cheetah-Antelope Tag- Tag, but with one (or several) “” pursuing “antelopes” to try and get them out

 What Animal am I?/Animal Headbands- Everyone holds a picture of an animal to their forehead and asks questions (what color am I? am I a ? Etc.) in to try and guess what they are

 Can You Outrun a Bear?- Set up a ten-foot barrier and time kids’ running times against a Black Bear’s 44ft/sec and jumping against a Bob Cheetah-Antelope Tag (10 ft.) Crafts

 Create an Animal- An craft where the pieces of paper with different animal heads/bodies/legs can be mixed and matched, then colored and attached to create a “new” animal

 Make a Bald Eagle- Using toilet paper tubes, as well as paper and tape/staples, to create a mini bald eagle

 Coloring Pages- Coloring the pages of birds

 Make a Bird Feeder- Using toilet paper tubes/pinecones and covering them with peanut butter and bird seeds to make bird feeders
