The Texas Recognizes Rep. Klick with their Courageous Conservative Award

Rep. Stephanie Klick adds to her conservative credentials as the Texas Conservative Coalition recognizes her as a Courageous Conservative during the 83rd Legislative Session. She recently received this award for her efforts to advance, support, and vote for conservative policy positions during the 83rd Legislative Session.

“Advancing Texans individual liberties, protecting life, and ensuring Texas stays an economic power by protecting the was a priority for me this legislative session. I campaigned on these values and believe it was one of the core reasons I was elected last year,” said Klick.

The Texas Conservative Coalition is “the conservative caucus of the Texas Legislature and operates under four guiding principles: , Individual Liberty, Free Enterprise, and Traditional Values. This session, "Courageous Conservatives" were effective and unwavering advocates of these principles.”

Rep. Klick is running for re-election for State Representative in House District 91. This district is made up of North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Watauga, Haltom City, and a portion of Fort Worth.

Elected in 2012, Rep. Klick and quickly became known as one of the most conservative members in the legislature by fighting for limited government and fighting against Obamacare. She was also elected as the Tarrant County Delegation Chair by her Tarrant County colleagues.

A lifelong Republican with a proven record of fighting for conservative principles, Klick was elected Chairman of the Tarrant County Republican Party in September 2005, after having served as Vice Chair for over five years. During that time Tarrant County has become one of the most Republican counties in the country.

Stephanie is a native Texan with strong ties across HD91, having lived in the Fort Worth portion of the district for over a decade. She attended school in Birdville ISD and later St. John the Apostle Catholic School, both located in HD 91. As a youth, Klick was a candy striper at North Hills Medical Center in North Richland Hills, formerly known as Glenview Hospital, where she developed a passion for nursing. Klick later worked as a nursing supervisor at the hospital.

Klick is a graduate of Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, having worked her way through college. A nursing consultant, she has worked as a case manager coordinating the care of the catastrophically injured and as a compliance consultant for long term care facilities for the developmentally disabled.

Stephanie has four grown children: a daughter and three sons. She and her husband Don have been married 32 years and are proud grandparents of four children. Don is a real estate broker and owns and operates a real estate investment firm.
