Check list for Camp- 2020

We do not provide tack & supplies: Please check list carefully of supplies you will need for your horse.

Current Health Care – Please send copies or notes showing these:

Copy of Current Coggin,Vaccines, Teeth floated at least within 6-8 months prior camp Current on feet care & recent exam for any pain by your veterinarian. Health Certificate (within 30 days coming to the Ranch)

Items will need for Boarding (Boarding Include Coastal Hay) Your own feed, in a trashcan with a lid 2 large water buckets with straps to hang up 1 feed bucket with strap to hang up

To get most for camper and their horse we strongly recommend: Exam by vet for lameness exam (check hock, stifle, back for example), teeth have been checked within 1-2 months prior camp. We want to be sure before we ask our to work that pain will not be factor. Horses in good condition, have been ridden on regular basis prior coming to camp size that fit correctly for rider & horse.

Check list of tack & supplies needed for camp: At least two types of : one lighter bit- a snaffle & 2nd little heavier like a Jr. Cow Bit- Bits should have a break in the middle. (contact us if you’re unsure what your horse needs) that adjust. (Braided ones are ones easily adjust) Tractor Supply has them One set Reins that can be removed from the bit easily (not permanently attached to ) Quality saddle pad that will protect horses back Rope only– please use rope halter with ropes have a snap for easy removal. Fly spray, hoof pick, brushes, grooming materials etc. , or wraps protect legs, and . Container to keep grooming supplies, boots items in. All other equipment’s needed for riding or caring for your horse.

 If you plan to leave your trailer here please email us so we can plan for it. Please specify what kind of trailer you are planning to leave here. (Type, make, model etc.)  Please email us to make time arrangements for dropping off your horse.  When you arrive you will have boarding contract to fill out. May Want to Label Your Stuff

Does your horse have hard time going in trailer? If you are bringing your own horse, boarding fee (non-refundable) must be paid in order for registration to be complete and hold your spot. If you decide the horse you had planned to bring does not work out for some reason, it will be your responsibility to find another horse. If a horse change needs to occur please email at least 4 weeks prior, so we can send you the form for the updated change.
