GAME 9: Arizona at UCLA -- Nov. 3, 2012 at Rose Bowl No. 25 UCLA scored touchdowns on six of its fi rst seven possessions to take a 42-3 halftime advantage over No. 24 Arizona in a game played before over 81,000 people in the Rose Bowl. Johnathan Franklin ran for 162 yards on the night and became UCLA’s all-time leading rusher on his third carry of the evening, a 37-yard scoring jaunt. Brett Hundley threw three touchdown passes and at one point completed 16 straight passes to fall one shy of matching the school record. GAME 10: UCLA at Washington State -- Nov. 10, 2012 at Pullman, WA No. 17/19 UCLA raced out to a 37-7 halftime lead and hung on to earn its eighth win on the season. It marked the fourth straight win on the season by the Bruins (2005 team won 8 straight) and it was the fourth road win of the season (last time had more was fi ve in 2002 season). UCLA blocked four kicks in the contest, two fi eld goal attempts and two punts. Sheldon Price raced 68 yards for a touchdown, after Datone Jones blocked a WSU fi eld goal attempt, to open the scoring. The Bruins went on to score 23 points in just over two minutes in the second quarter on the way to the 30-point halftime lead.
