Premise:

Rains are blessing of Allah but some time humans are not capable enough to bear this due to their lesser resources and capacity. Rivers bring life for people but some time caues death and chaos for all of us.

Same happened in last week when due to heavy rains, water destroyed not only crops but houses, roads, bridges, animal and humans thus created another huge challenge for .

Mianwali is among those Districts which are badly affected by this tragedy.

Punjab, District Government and NGOs and local community are working their best to face this challenge. NCHD is working shoulder to shoulder with all by trying its best to overcome this situation and calamity.

Present Flood Situation

Flood badly affected District Mianwali. Now out flow in River Indus is on normal position but havoc is still there and required continues and healthy efforts to bring Situation normal. Homes are destroyed people are shelter less it will take time to rebuild their own houses. Following areas are identified as most affected areas with lot of disaster

NCHD closely coordinated with District Government, our field staff remained engages with them in all activities. Afterward DCO asked us to work for the support of most effected area called Kachh. This area is badly affected by this disaster. Therefore HDSU staff visited that area and prepared plan of action which was approved by the DCO Mianwali.
