WITH SOUTH' AFRICA 1HB SWA Bowling Association (SWABA) is to apply for affiliation to the International Bowling Board (mB), following a decision to break ties with South Africa and the approval of.a new constitution for .the Association. SWABA president Johann Britz announced Yesterday that the SA Bowling ASsociation (SABA) and the Griqual~ West Bowling Association, of which SW ABA was a sub­ district, have been informed of this decision. SWABA ,~ided at a meeting in Windhoek that the Association's name is to be changed to the Namibia Bowling Association. The draft constitution will be submitted to legal advisers, as well as the mB for comment before final approval early in March. . In order to establish ties with the other six bowling associations in Africa, the SWABA executive intends travelling to Botswana early in April to attend the annual All Africa Clampionships in Francistown.
