In each session of Theatre for Kids, a hit movie is adapted for the stage and will be starring *No prior training required you! Students will learn different acting techniques and tools, assist in choreographing differ- ent dances, and learn some of the movies musical. Theatre for Kids looks to build confdence, Shakespeare for Teens (Intermediate) enhance social skills, and help students gain a greater sense of empathy and compassion. At Age: 14-18 the end of the session students will be able to show their work in a performance for family Instructor: Ian Geers and friends. Students will be split into groups and assigned short scenes from Shakespeare plays. Instructor: Lexi Alioto *Prerequisite: Shakespeare for Teens Beginners or equivalent course Through this multi-level improvisational training course, kids will learn how to access and develop their powerful and creative imaginations in an engaging and fun way! Starting with Shakespeare for Teens (Advanced) basic improv training, students will learn how to create various characters, be introduced to Age: 14-18 classic improv games, and form friendships with their fellow performers. We will be learning Instructor: Ian Geers a variety of different stage games made popular on some of the biggest stages around the Students will work with one Shakespeare play, be assigned roles, and chart their character’s city. These games will help each student to feel comfortable on stage, develop physical and journey from beginning to end. This will help the students truly understand ensemble work vocal awareness to aid in character creation, and help each student focus on making choices and how a character fts into a story. During the course, students will assemble an abridged quickly and with confdence. At the end of this level, students will have the opportunity to version of the play with key scenes, character interactions, and physical moments. The course showcase the skills learned during classes to family and friends. will culminate in a presentation of the abridged show for family and friends. *No prior training required *Prerequisite: Shakespeare for Teens Intermediate or equivalent course Improv for Kids & Teens: Character-Work (Intermediate) Ages: 9-13 Instructor: Lexi Alioto In this second session, we will focus more on two-person scenes, character interviews, and ways for these characters to interact with one another. Each student will also work on devel- oping characters, sense of physical comedy, and we will begin writing for characters. At the end of this level, students will have learned advanced scene structure and long-form improv and will have the opportunity to showcase the skills learned during classes to family and friends. *Prerequisite: Improv for Kids Beginner or equivalent course

Acro for Kids (Beginner) Imagination Station Ages: 5-8 Age: 18 months – 4 years Instructor: Brittany Sprung Instructor: Kayla Zaniboni Acro combines the strength, fexibility, and control of gymnastics with the grace and elegance This class will give your little one a creative outlet using music, dance, pretend play, art and of dance. It involves balancing, limbering, tumbling, partnering and contortion. Students storytelling. Each class will be different and engaging. Creativity is so important for little ones will begin with rolls, cartwheels, and headstands, gaining skills and a core understanding of learning to express themselves, as it helps them develop mentally and socially. In this class, students will learn about classic and contemporary opera, song writing, handstands, elbow stands, back-bends, one-handed cartwheels, round-offs and walking dance, and script-writing. Focusing on song structure, story structure, and the elements of bridges. Proper singing posture and vocal technique will also be a main focus of this Intermediate class. *Prerequisite: Opera I or equivalent course Opera for Kids: Original Opera (Advanced) Ages: 8 -13 Instructor: Taylor Walters-Chapman Students will have the opportunity to create and direct a story with personal meaning to them. We will work on skills of composition, acting, and staging/choreography, all culminating in a fnal performance for friends and family. *Prerequisite: Opera II or equivalent course
